A Bit About Me

Right I thought I had better say a bit about myself.



I am 32 and have been married to Steven for 10 1/2 years. We have 2 daughters, Katie 7 and Jessica 21 months, and a Miniature Schnauzer called Defor. The latest addition to the family is Fluffy the rabbit, she was Katies birthday present in December.

I am a very keen crafter but don't get half as much time to devote to it as I would like. My main passion at the moment is scrapbooking and I can often be found on UK Scrappers. One of my New Year resolutions is to use some of my stash this year, I have a dining room full of stuff and I dread to think how much I spent last year so I am going to try to be more careful this year and try to be bit more adventurous in my scrapping. I love other peoples busy pages and the collagey and distressed look but have great difficulty in recreating it for myself. I am going to try my hardest to try some new techniques this year and also to set aside some child free time to get the many projects that I have planned in my head actually done in real life.

The other thing that I intend to change this year is my weight. I have battled with it for most of my life and always lost. I did manage to get slim for my wedding but soon put it all back on again and a bit more on top. I have started eating more sensibly and cut out snacking between meals and managed to lose 4lbs this week so that has given me a boost. My Aunt is getting married in April so I want to lose as much as I can for that.

My First Post

I thought I had better get with the 21st Century and create my own blog. I enjoy reading through other peoples blogs but now that i have created mine I'm not very sure what to put in it. Oh well, I'll go and see to my screaming child and clean the rabbit out and have a think about it.
